Cream And Sugar
After a long time of remodelling we finally have our "mobile living room" finished. On Wednesday October 24th we brought it to outreach for the first time, and since then it has proven to be more than just efficient. The whole project has been a huge success.
While some of us are still walking around on the streets and alleys talking and ministering to people in need, we always have guests in the trailer where we can have a conversation in a very relaxed and calm atmosphere. We serve coffee, cookies and soup. We also have clothes and bibles to give away.
In the short period of time that we have been doing our outreaches this way we found that the conversations inside the trailer reach a deeper level than those out on the streets. People are asking questions about Jesus and the Gospel; it has been very encouraging.
It was our desire to create a place where praying for people and salvation is possible. We are very grateful that everything is working out this way.
But there is one more thing. Our friends on the streets communicate mainly by e-Mail and the Internet, so we created a special website for them. The purpose of this site is to keep us connected when they leave town, and it also provides a platform where we can share our thoughts about Jesus.

Internship in Texas: Marcus Siering
Hi, I am Marcus from Germany, and I am doing an internship for ten weeks with the HELP for all Nations Team in Austin, TX. After I finished hight school and my military service I wanted to do an internship abroad.
Then I heard about the ministry here in the US. I was very eager to see what this ministry among young homeless people was like. After exchaning a couple of e-Mails with the team and a lot of prayer, it was clear. I decided to go to Austin.
This is a very special time for me. Our outreaches on the streets always leave a deep impression on me, and it is so much fun to be around the staff here.
Every day we are out on the street ministering, and I am learning something new every day.
God is teaching me how important it is to take time to listen to the people , be friendly, and show God's love in a very practical way. This is opening up their hearts and establishing trust.
I am very sure that I am in the right place at the right time. One thing is certain. I will never forget the wonderful and exciting time I had over here.
