Housing Situation Update

As we have already shared with you, we have been searching for a new location in Austin for our ministry for quite some time. We are in touch with the owner of a property in east Austin that would suit us very well. He has already told us that he would be willing to rent the property to us.
However, the houses there are not able to be leased right now because they are being reconnected to utilities. The City of Austin also has to inspect and give final approval for occupancy. The owner has told us several months ago that this process might take up to one year.
In the past months there has not been significant progress in this matter. This is why we decided to look for potential alternatives. It is our strong desire to move in together again as a team and restart our discipleship training program, LIFE Training.
