Update

demolition delayed - still searching

Previously we mentioned that we are looking for a permanent place for the ministry and for us to stay. The building we are in right now will be demolished. The appointed day for this was to be shortly after November 30th, but demolition has been delayed until January 15, 2006. We are grateful that we can spend the holidays in the old house that has become our home for the past few months. The delay also gives us more time to search for a new place.
Being here as missionaries from Europe we are not allowed to work. We believe the Lord will cover all of our living expenses. Therefore we have to either look for a affordable place or for financial support. (Rent, deposits, fees etc.)
We would also be able to live outside the city since we have cars. Ideally not more than 20-30 minutes away from downtown Austin. Our dream would be to stay on some property where the three families could live together. However we will be grateful for any kind of housing. following Jesus

One of our homeless friends gave his life to the Lord just recently. He really wants to follow Jesus. Three weeks ago we asked him if he would like to stay with us. He accepted joyfully and moved into his own room.
He is part of our daily devotion times, loves to read his Bible and is praying aloud. He is also telling others about the things that the Lord has done in his life and enjoys having fellowship with us. It is a joy to see him grow in the Lord.
It is our desire to teach him and help him in becoming a disciple of Jesus. Recently he told us that shortly after he got saved he threw away all the drugs that he still had and he also threw his marijuana pipes in the trashcan. He is cleaning up his life.
We are really excited about that because we did not tell him to do so. Instead the Holy Sprit was showing him what to do. Jesus has got him by the hand and is leading him into a new life. More testimonials...
