What is going on?

Unfortunately, we have not been able to rent a property in east Austin.

As you all know, we have been on a search for a permanent place for our ministry for quite a while now. We have been hoping to rent a particular property in east Austin but unfortunately this was not possible.
We need a lot of space to continue ourLIFE training program. It will be a place where we can fulfil the vision that the Lord has placed on our hearts. He has given us this verse many years ago:

And I will provide a place for my people and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. 2. Sam. 7, 10

And also:

Furthermore, God has this message for you: God himself will build you a house! 2. Sam. 7, 11

In June, friends of our ministry approached us regarding the aquisition of a property. They would like to participate in the funding of this project and also supervise our additional fund raising efforts.
By the Summer of 2009 we want to have room for six LIFE Training participants. We also need on site housing for staff members and additional space for up to three interns.

My name is Felix, I am 21 years old and I finished school last summer. In Germany young men are required to do military service or social service at my age. Since about 3 years there is also the possibility to do your social service in a foreign country.
As I heard about the opportunity to spend this year after school with HELP for all Nations in Texas I was really excited. I wanted to step out of my typical life in a small German town and experience something different.
Since the beginning of September I am here and I support HELP for all Nations. It is an adventure to share my life with the missionaries and it is great to be a part of the team that goes out to the streets to bring Gods love to young homeless people.
